FIBERGLASS ROPE & TAPE

Fiberglass tape is a woven tape manufactured from texturized fiberglass yarn. The texturization provides enhanced insulation properties. Fiberglass tape is an ideal material for various thermal and acoustic insulation and for high-temperature sealing and protection.

Product applications include insulation and protective wrapping for hot pipes, steam tracer lines and exhaust, strip door curtains for ovens and furnaces, gaskets, tadpole tapes, and seals for high-temperature applications.

Fiberglass rope is available in various styles made with high-temperature texturized fiberglass yarn. Round braided rope has a medium-high density braid structure. Square braided rope has a firm braid structure. Twisted rope has a multi-strand twisted structure.

Fiberglass rope is heat spark and flame resistant, has low thermal conductivity, high tensile strength with no stretch or shrink, high dielectric strength and chemical resistance.

Fiberglass rope is used as a seal or gasket for doors and openings in ovens, furnaces, boilers, processing tanks and kettles.
